BJORN BAKER

In just six years after setting up his Warwick Farm base, Bjorn has earned his label as one of Australia’s most exciting young trainers since moving from his native land of New Zealand with just two horses in 2012. In his short time, Bjorn has built an impressive, yet select, stable of ninety horses which has helped him scale the trainer’s premiership to sit comfortably in the top five trainers in New South Wales. With one of the highest strike rates in the country, Bjorn’s knowledge of the form and focus on attention to detail continues to see his horses race competitively across Australia.

In his young training career, Bjorn has played a hand in the making of stallions Dundeel (with his father Murray), Winning Rupert and 2yo Magic Millions Classic winner, Unencumbered.
